Thousands of cases of narcolepsy after H1N1 vaccine – study BMJ
The British Medical Journal (BMJ), one of the most prestigious medical journals in the world, published a study showing a dramatic increase in narcolepsy caused by the vaccine Pandemrix, widely used against the H1N1 2009. (1)
The problem was reported by the Finnish and Swedish authorities as early as August 2010, who found an increase in 13 risk of narcolepsy in children and young people vaccinated. (2) Pandemrix is a product of the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
Narcolepsy is a devastating neurological disorder. Sufferers can fall asleep after the slightest emotion, such a simple laugh. Can you imagine such a life where being laugh becomes dangerous ? This is unfortunately not the only symptom of narcolepsy. It can also cause hallucinations, des paralysies, difficulty concentrating, agitation, difficulty falling asleep normally, of terrible cauchemars, the catalepsie : the person collapses while it is going about its daily business. The people can no longer make any potentially hazardous activity, including driving a car.
There is no known cure. Is generally given to the victims of powerful drugs to control symptoms. These include amphetamines and related drugs like Adderall. All these drugs can cause serious side effects such as tachycardia, of diarrhea, of the nervosité, of Fatigue, vomiting, anxiety, palpitations, trembling and manic episodes.
Denial… then admission
Before this health disaster, it was first explained that the increase in narcolepsy observed in Finland and Sweden was probably related to local conditions.
Important studies were nevertheless undertaken in other countries. And in fact, French study coordinated by Dr. Antoine Pariente, part of a series of European studies released on 20 September 2012, spoke in turn multiplied by four in vaccinated persons risk of developing narcolepsy, and on French patients.
The news made a few snippets in newspapers last September, (2) but, today, is the British Medical Journal itself sounds the alarm. And the study on which it is based, performed on patients in Britain, reported an even stronger increase in Finland and Sweden, the risk is multiplied by 14,4 !
Researchers, cases of narcolepsy caused by Pandemrix should be thousands.
A rigorous study
The researchers examined the records of children diagnosed with narcolepsy was established during the period when the vaccine was administered. They got lists 23 specialized centers with the narcolepsy British Sleep Society and British Paediatric Neurology Association. They set standards to exclude from the study all children diagnosed with narcolepsy had not been clearly established.
Questionnaires were sent to different doctors to ensure that these children had received the Pandemrix vaccine and when. This information was compared with the dates of onset of narcolepsy. What these researchers found is net :
« This study shows a significant increased risk of narcolepsy in children, one Angleterre, received Pandemrix pandemic strain vaccine with AS03 (squalène). Our study provided an odds ratio of 14.4 (4.3 to 48.5) for the primary analysis. These figures are consistent with the relative risk 13 found in a retrospective study in Finland (de cohorte). »
Their results indicate that Pandemrix caused 14,4 times more cases of narcolepsy than what we would normally expect !
One reason that could explain the increase in narcolepsy has not been recorded in England is that the Pandemrix vaccination in children had not been widespread, while in Finland where the tragedy was quickly reported, coverage was widespread. A Angleterre, overall coverage was 27,3% ; of 43,9% in risk groups (people infected with H1N1 were considered at high risk) and 26,2% for children who were not at risk.
Thousands of cases of narcolepsy
It is now quite clear, is that around the world, Pandemrix has caused thousands of cases of narcolepsy in children in the space of few years.
There are now more way to deny the reality of these tragedies caused by a vaccine that has been imposed on the people in a hurry, after a scare campaign for a disease that was actually benign.
The researchers said more explicitly :
"The increased risk of narcolepsy after vaccination with adjuvanted A/H1N1 pandemic vaccine ASO3 risk indicates a causal association, accordance with the conclusions of Finland. »
There is therefore no way to escape reality : ASO3 Pandemrix adjuvant causes narcolepsy. The question now is what other autoimmune diseases may appear in the coming years as a result of this vaccine ?
Squalène : adjuvant that destroys lives
The researchers also clarified that it was ASO4 adjuvant used in Pandemrix which caused narcolepsy. Many are the voices who wanted to warn against the risk that the active ingredient is squalene ASO4.
Although squalene was forbidden, the problem of dangerous adjuvants remain intact. Researchers have shown that the aluminum, Another adjuvant for vaccines, is the origin of a wide range of adverse effects such as systemic lupus, la myofasciite à macrophages, l’arthrose rhumatoïde, antiphospholipid syndrome, and other seriously debilitating disorders.
Finally, there is the new generation of transgenic adjuvants performed with bacteria that produce particulate antigen such. The latter acting as antigens and adjuvants, involve risks similar to those of squalene. These are all lipids. Decades, it is known that injection of a lipid can cause autoimmune diseases. During the first years of experimenting with these types of adjuvants, we were able to determine that they were too dangerous to be used in vaccines. Actually, These additives are used in animal experiments to induce autoimmune disorders in order to allow the development of treatments for human diseases they replicate.
How is it possible to argue that such adjuvants are safe ?
The fact is that the tragedy discussed here was entirely preventable. The dangers of injecting squalene have been known for decades. There is no excuse for their use in vaccines.
The price paid
These children with narcolepsy are condemned to a life of disability, accordingly narcolepsy but also medicines that will be prescribed against narcolepsy. When, on another, we realize that the disease against which they were supposed to be protected proved benign, we realize that the tragedy is totally inexcusable.
It also becomes clear that these children will suffer for the rest of their lives, without ever having the chance to fully enjoy life and for a single reason : the Cupid. For people with narcolepsy following Pandemrix use actually pay full price for the greed of GSK, that government agencies and physicians.
